Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by our good friend at Crazy for Books. And here is the question fore this week:

"Since today is April Fool's Day in the USA, what is the best prank you have ever played on someone OR that someone has played on you?"

     Since my post is a little late for the question since our time zone is ahead I'm still up to answer this week's question. Honestly I can't recall any pranks played on me or I played to others. But honestly I do sometimes but I can't locate them in my memory anymore.

Q. WHAT IS THE BOOK THAT YOU REALLY DON'T WANT TO ADMIT TO LOVING?? 

Probably its Anne Rice's Vampire themed books. Her books are awesome and they're really bestselling books. The reason that I hate to admit that I love them is the part wherein the vampire's descriptions were very typical unlike the vampires in todays young adult books wherein it has twists on their description.

"Why do you read the genre that you do?  What draws you to it?"

I mostly read Young Adult and Paranormal genre and I read it because I enjoy reading it and there were elements to it that draws me and made me so addictive to it. And one of my friend asked me this before that why do I consider Young Adult than Adult Fiction Novels and my answer is that I still feel young and actually I'm kind of naive so by reading this genre I could still be teenager even though I'm already an adult. And Young Adult genre is easier to grasp than Adult Fiction.

What book(s) have you discovered lately from someone’s book blog?

          Well actually I haven’t done my book blogging digging recently, I’m kinda busy writing for my blog entry. But I’ve seen book reviews of the popular books right now like Unearthy which was released recently.

“What book influenced or changed your life? How did it influence/change you?”

          It’s a tough question actually and it made me think and dig into my read piles on what book really gave me a hard influence. There’s a lot of books that really moved me and made me cry. But I could say that the books “The Last Song” and “The Notebook” by Nicholas Sparks really inspired and influenced me. It taught me about the true meaning of love and family and it also helped me strengthen my Spirituality.

"If you find a book that looks interesting but is part of a series, do you always start with the first title?"

         Definitely I will start with the first book. It's kind of confusing to read a book in a series not in order. It will definitely ruin my reading experience. And it will give me spoilers which is not to be reveal before I start to  read the first book.

The sole purpose of this meme is to let bloggers interact with one another and gain followers by following one another and meet new friends in the blogosphere. I haven't done meme's for quite sometime now, so here's my second time to join again. Today's question is:

What is your usual monthly book budget?

     I don't usually put a budget for my book hobby, as long as I have an extra money for that month that I could spend for book then I go. Usually I save a budget that can go for 1 or 2 books and I could buy more books if I could find a good read at Book Sale. Books here in the Philippines tends to be very expensive so sometimes if I'm low on budget I go to Book Sale to look for a great book that I could buy for a cheaper prize.

Answer: I just started my blog few weeks ago. At first I'm clueless on where to start and how to promote my site. Since I'm a member of facebook, first I convinced my friends to drop-by my newly started blog. Then I follow different blogs until I came across The Story Siren who also host a weekly meme called In My Mailbox. Last week I joined this meme and through it, I also visit other blogs and I leave a comment and the link to my blog. I also joined the Book Blogs community and joined this group that allows members to promote their site. So that's all. How about you?
